How to Play Three Card Poker

There are two games in the game of Three Card Poker.  There is the regular game and a side game called Pair Plus.  Usually you will find players playing the regular game or both, but some players prefer just to play Pair Plus.  The regular game involves some strategy, but Pair Plus requires none and there are no player decisions beyond placing the initial wager.
Okay, lets start with the easier game first.  Pair Plus will require you to place your chips on the Pair Plus circle on the table.  You can place wagers of $1 to $500 depending on the online casino.  If you are only playing Pair Plus, you may push deal and the cards are dealt out.  After this, there is nothing you can do to increase or decrease the amount of money you will win.  Once all the cards have been dealt out, you will be paid according to the pay table.  Pay outs will depend on what you have.  A pair will double your money, a flush will pay you out 4:1, a straight is 6:1, a three of a kind is 30:1 and a straight flush will pay you out 40:1.
The regular game requires a bit of skill, a little know how and sometimes a bit of balls.  Much like Pair Plus, you will place your bet on the table, but on the Ante circle instead.  You will be able to wager $1 and $500 depending on which online casino you are playing Three Card Poker at.  Your three cards will be dealt out.  You will now have to decide whether or not you want to fold or play the hand.  If you fold, you will lose everything regardless of the dealer's hand.  If you play, you will be placing an additional wager equal to your ante.  Once you have decided, the dealer's cards will be flipped over.
If the dealer has a Queen or better he will qualify.  If the dealer doesn't have at least a Queen or better than he will not qualify.  If the dealer does not qualify, all players that did not fold their hands during the regular game will have there funds refunded (a push).  If the dealer qualifies, you will need to have a better hand than the dealer to win.  If not you will lose your bets.  If so, you will be paid out 1:1 on your ante and play bets.  You will also be paid out any additional ante bonuses based on the pay table below.  It does not matter if the dealer qualifies or not, all ante bonus pay outs will be rewarded.  Tri-Card Poker and Poker Three work the same way, the only difference will be the pay out table.

3 Card Poker Strategy

Some things to consider while playing three card poker is that you do not want to place a play bet on all your hands.  It is recommended that if you do not have queen or better, that you fold your ante bet.  You should look for a game that pays out 4:1 for a three of a kind and 5:1 for a straight flush.  Also if you seem to be having a great playing session, you should play both Pair Plus and the regular game to take advantage of a good set of hands.
